Mitsubishi Electric: Changes for the Better

People

The Foundation has a staff of two in the metropolitan Washington DC area. But its work involves many more people. The Board of Directors is headed by the senior Mitsubishi Electric executive in the US and includes the CEO of the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan and executives from Mitsubishi Electric US subsidiaries. There are also two Board positions for Employee Representatives, who represent the views and interests of the more than 3000 US company employees. An Advisory Committee composed of experts in the fields of disability, education, and technology provides guidance on issues related to the Foundation's mission and helps to review grant requests. Apart from the staff, all serve on a voluntary basis.
